ABOUT STUCK IN THE MIDDLE

Being a middle child isn’t easy, as tween Harley Diaz can tell you. The inventive girl feels the need to come up with creative ways to stand out in her family’s crowded home, where she lives with her parents and six siblings, to avoid getting lost in the madness. The series, told from Harley’s point of view, tends to find humor in the otherwise mundane happenings of everyday life. The menagerie that is the Diaz children includes self-involved Rachel, basketball-playing Georgie, invincible twins Lewie and “Beast,” strong-willed youngster Daphne, and Ethan, Harley’s closest ally.

Now on to “3 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Disney Channel’s ‘Stuck in the Middle'” with Jenna Ortega (“Harley Diaz”), Ronni Hawk (“Rachel Diaz”), Isaak Presley (“Ethan Diaz”), Ariana Greenblatt (“Daphne Diaz”), Kayla Maisonet (“Georgie Diaz”), Malachi Barton (“Beast Diaz”), Nicholas Bechtel (“Lewie Diaz”), Cerina Vincent (“Suzy Diaz”) and Joe Nieves (“Tom Diaz”)!

3 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Disney Channel's 'Stuck in the Middle'

1. How many of the cast members from large families in real life?

JENNA: I’m from a large family. I’m one of six kids but if you add one of my nephews there’s seven. But my sister just had another nephew so now there’s eight of us. And they’re always over at the house because we babysit them so there’s eight kids in my family I guess you could say. So it’s pretty big.

2. Does the cast feel like one big family off-set?

ARIANA: Family, just straight up family.

NICOLAS: Siblings.

ARIANA: Off the set we hang out at dinners. And we really love each other.

JENNA ORTEGA: It’s like they’re my second family.

JOE: And that happened right from day one. Right from day one it happened. It was immediate and fantastic.

ISAAK: I know for Malachi and I we’re only children. So like us walking into this as only children, we’re walking into this big family.I t was actually like adopting a family.

ARIANA: We’re like family.

MALACHI: I was just going to say, just like Isaak and I, what he was saying is that like in real life, we don’t have any siblings. So it’s like interesting but it’s really, really fun to have siblings onset.

3. The cast’s favorite episode.

KAYLA: I think my favorite episode was the cince or when we got our eyebrows taken off.

ISAAK PRESLEY : Yeah, I’d say for me it’d either be the episode where I direct the boys being cops. That was a blast to film with those two because they’re so funny when they get so into character at times that like maintaining my like straight face when I’m trying to be mad at them and I’m like so like just thrilled with that, it’s hard. But I’d say it’s either that one or stuck with no rules, eyebrows.
