5 Spring Cleaning Hacks
If you are anything like me, when Spring rolls around you are more than ready to open up the windows and start deep cleaning the house. It’s like a new beginning. A perfect time to declutter, redesign each room, and rid items of dust. A chance to give your home a new breath, which makes the whole process a bit exciting. At least, it does for me. 🙂
Perhaps Spring cleaning doesn’t excite you as much as it does me, but that’s quite okay. The tips I’m sharing in today’s post will be so easy it won’t even feel like cleaning. Promise. Pinky swear.
So, let’s get your house clean. It’s time.
5 Spring Cleaning Hacks
Freshen the Garbage Disposal
The garbage disposal is something that we often don’t think about cleaning, which is probably why it gets oh so stinky!
Freshen up your garbage disposal in a jiffy by slicing up a fresh lemon into fours, dropping into the disposal, running water, then grinding up!
Steam the Microwave
Cleaning the microwave is SUCH A PAIN, but there is a quick solution that will change your life. Just pour two cups of water and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar into bowl and then microwave for 1-2 minutes.
The water and vinegar will create a lovely steam that will loosen up the dirt and grime, making it easy to wipe clean!
Vinegar Soak the Shower Head
Is your shower head caked and clogged with hard water scaling?
Create a cleaning soak by adding vinegar to a plastic baggie and attaching to the shower head with rubber bands. Let soak overnight, then wipe down with a sponge and/or brush the next day.
Dryer Sheets for Baseboards
Dryer sheets are magic for water stains and dusting, but you can also use these handy helpers to clean baseboards, too.
Use scented sheets to add a fresh smell to your home, too.
Try the Clorox Toilet Wand
