5 Ways to Add the Holidays to Your Cup of Coffee

I don’t know about you but for me the holidays bring up an unusual contradiction. I need more caffeine, but I also need to relax more. Because there’s so much excellent food at the holidays it also ramps up my desire to make sure that EVERYTHING I eat and drink is delicious. I mean, I love a good cup of coffee any time of the year, but during the holidays, I like to make the drinks extra special.

Luckily for me, Dunkin’ Donuts has my back here. My local grocery store (and probably yours) carries Dunkin’ Donuts ground, whole bean, and K-Cup pods, so it’s easy to make special coffee drinks at home. I’ve already mentioned how much I love using Dunkin’ Donuts coffee to make a cold brew so that I can have iced coffee whenever I want, too.

Here are five other ways I use Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee to create special coffee drinks for the holiday. These treats always give me a little extra boost, and a little extra joy. Don’t forget, if you don’t need that extra boost, feel free to go decaf!

White Chocolate Peppermint Love – DD white chocolate peppermint coffee with crushed peppermint around the rim of mug. This is truly a decadent treat. The White Chocolate flavor is one of Dunkin’ Donuts’ seasonal blends, so I definitely grab it at the store as soon as it’s available. When I’m feeling extra un-grinchy I’ve been known to make a decaf version of this for my kids. [this seems like the best one for a picture]

Hot Chocolate Java – DD chocolate donut coffee with milk, whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles on top. Hot chocolate and coffee … do I need to say anything else?

Cinnamon Spice – DD cinnamon roll coffee with cinnamon sticks and topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. Want a special breakfast treat but don’t want to turn on the oven to make cinnamon rolls? This is absolutely the next best thing, and another treat you can make decaf for kids.

Pumpkin Dream – DD pumpkin spice coffee topped with pumpkin spiced whipped cream. Most of the world grows tired of everything pumpkin by the time Thanksgiving is over, but not me. Pumpkin Spice is another one of Dunkin’ Donuts’ seasonal blends, so in order to keep the Fall spirit around as long as possible, I make sure to stock up at the grocery store when it’s available.

Salted Caramel Cake – DD caramel coffee cake coffee with milk, whipped cream and melted caramel drizzle. [AMY, I was confused about this one. I couldn’t find the caramel cake or caramel flavor on the website. Is this made with their flavored creamer?] Salted caramel has become a “thing” lately, and I couldn’t be happier about it.
