Amy’s Favorite Things: Part 8

Hello (1)

chai tea.

During my time in India, I had many a chai tea. Now I cannot get enough. I’m even learning to make it at home, too. In fact, Mom Spark has a great chai tea recipe.

Red Tieks Ballet Flats

tieks.

If you are a loyal Mom Spark reader, you already know how much I LOVE my Tieks ballet flats (full review here) and I have continued to brag about them. Comfortable, light and easy to pack/travel with, Tieks hit all the high points. I currently own Red Cardinal and Ballerina Pink, but there is a HUGE selection of colors to choose from. I’m digging the new colors – Olive + Burgundy!

cinnamon roll waffles.

A few months ago, I placed some pre-made cinnamon roll dough into a hot waffle iron and my life was forever changed. If you saw this method on Pinterest and wondered if it really works, IT DOES.

The Moody Blues Nights in White Satin

moody blues.

I was listening to iTunes radio the other night and heard a piano version of “Nights in White Satin” by The Moody Blues. I’m not sure why I never noticed or cared about this song before, but at that moment I fell in LOVE with the haunting and beautiful melodies. It’s currently on repeat.

Nose Piercing

nose piercing.

I have been wanting to piece my nose for YEARS. Literally years. I’m not sure why I was so timid to take the plunge before, but I overcame my fear a few days ago. I’m starting with a steel ball, then once it heals I’ll try a ring. I’m happy with the outcome. 🙂
