An Interview with ANT-MAN’S Abby Ryder Fortson
So far this week, I have shared my exclusive set visit of ANT-MAN with an interview with Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Director Peyton Reed and Judy Greer (Maggie) and today I am sharing another interview – this time with the adorable Abby Ryder Fortson who plays Ant-Man daughter, Cassie Lang.
Abby was a bit nervous, as this was her very first interview ever! We were soon able to break the ice, however, because we mentioned Disney princesses. You can’t go wrong with Disney princesses. Below is a portion of our interview – enjoy!
I have a little girl and she’s five and she wants to know who your favorite Disney princess is.
What’s your favorite part about acting? Why do you love acting so much?
Because I get to be all different kinds of people.
Is Paul Rudd fun to work with?
Mm hmm. And he’s actually koo-koo!!
How long have you been acting?
Since I was four years old.
And how old are you now?
What did you think when you saw Paul in the Ant-Man suit?
It was actually really cool. I actually got to put on one of his gloves when I was at the wardrobe.
Is Ant-Man your favorite superhero now?
Yeah. And Black Widow.
Do you have any messages to kids who want to be actors that aren’t yet?
Practice like three weeks ahead so you get them down.
The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ “Ant–Man” when master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant–Man suit from a new generation of towering threats.
ANT–MAN opens in theaters everywhere on July 17th!
Disclosure: Disney sponsored travel and accommodations. Thoughts are my own.
