Announcing The Home Depot Do-It-Herself Workshops! #DIHWorkshop
The first house my husband and I purchased was straight from the 1980′s, which would have been fine if it weren’t 2003. Needless to say, we had to remodel. We also had NO budget, so we had to do all the updates ourselves!
Remodeling was tough. We were novices and since my husband had a very busy work schedule, many of the improvements fell upon my shoulders. I had a TON of learning to do, yet I didn’t where to turn or go to find answers. I made many mistakes.
Are you in the same boat right now? Well, you’re in luck! The Home Depot has recently expanded their Do-It-Herself Workshops to more The Home Depot Stores! These free weekly workshops are a great way to get step-by-step instructions and hands-on experience on how to do basic repairs and easy home improvements.
Next month, I will be attending and co-leading a DIH Workshop at my local The Home Depot to experience these one-of-a-kind workshops for myself. I wish I would have had these resources years ago! Make sure you follow #DIHWorkshop for tweets and photos from my experiences.
In addition to attending and co-leading a DIH Workshop at my local The Home Depot, I am also hosting a fun Twitter party on Twitter Thursday, February 7 at 8:00 pm ET. We will be discussing Do-It-Herself projects and more with The Home Depot, as well as giving away gift cards from The Home Depot, so check out the details HERE!
In the meantime, check your local Home Depot store to see if it is holding Do-It-Herself Workshops!
