The Perfect Salsa to Pair with Tostitos Chips

This time of year is HUGE for NBA fans like myself, because the playoffs are in full action! We find ourselves hosting more parties with friends, or sometimes just the four of us. I am always trying to find new snack foods to serve during our parties and chips and dip are always a big crowd favorite. (who doesn’t love to dip?) Tostitos recently reached out to me to host a party using Tostitos Thins torilla chips. Available for a limited time only, these lighter, thinner

Pantry Recipe: Peanut Butter Cornflake Clusters

A little while back I was on a mission to use up a bunch of food in my pantry before a big move. I had a full box of unopened corn flakes that I wasn’t sure what to do with. I knew I could use them for Cornflake Crusted Chicken, but I’d still have a ton leftover to deal with.  When I came across this recipe at Sticky, Gooey, Cream, Chewy, which Susan called the ‘Holycraptheseareamazing Cookies,’ I knew I had hit the jackpot.

I came across the original recipe for this Asparagus Gruyere Tart from ‘Chefanie Frasco’ at The Chefanies while participating in a fun little foodie event, the Secret Recipe Club, which was created by Amanda at Amanda’s Cookin‘. I happened to have half of a package of puff pastry ready to be used up and the Asparagus Gruyere Tart was calling to me, so off I went!

The recipe for the yummy Strawberry Bread comes from Closet Cooking. Many thanks to Kevin for allowing me to post the recipe from his website! Strawberry Bread Makes

No-brainer Recipe: San Remo Seafood Dip

The Olive Garden used to have the most amazing seafood dip, San Remo Dip, on their menu. Like any ‘good’ chain, they got rid of it. We were appalled, then we went to the interwebs and found our own recipe. All in all, a perfectly suitable substitute. A little on the thin side, so next time I would simmer for a longer amount of time till it’s nice and thick. Yum! Serve with your favorite bread sticks, sliced baguette or crackers. I have a deep love for zucchini breads of all kinds. I make them all the time. Up until recently my favorite had been a coconut zucchini bread (recipe another time, ahem), but my top spot has now been replaced by the ultimate, the best, most amazing (according to Ali) Chocolate Orange Zucchini Bread. So here is what you need to know about this Chocolate Zucchini Bread. It is really moist – thank you zucchini and sour cream! It has amazing flavor, especially due to

No-brainer Recipe: Caramelized Peaches with Ice Cream

Here is what you need to know: Peaches are delicious. Roasting peaches in the oven brings out a delicious flavor that is perfect for a light Summer dessert. If you would like to lighten it up you can substitute sorbet for ice cream. I think I’ll stick with ice cream though. If you are feeling frisky, you could also grill this on an outdoor (clean) barbecue. Eat up!
