Cheaply Chic: Fall Shelf Decor
Welcome to our new “Cheaply Chic” series on Mom Spark!
CHEAPLY CHIC = Fashion, Style, Art, and Decor on a Dime.
Today’s “Cheaply Chic” is from Haley at Love, Life, Family…and Then Some. This inexpensive Fall decor can be easily duplicated and created in your own home! Have more Fall decor ideas to share? Leave a comment!
1, 2, and 3 are all from Hobby Lobby. I always check Hobby Lobby’s weekly specials from the email they send out each Sunday (get on their email list, it’s worth it!). Every week different things are marked down 20% – 50%. There is also usually a coupon in the email too, for 40% off of one item (occasionally, there will be a coupon for 30% off Wilton products instead, but this is rare.)
1. Hobby Lobby Owl Figurine – $3.20 – One week I used my 40% off coupon on the Owl figurine, regularly $7.99, so I ended up paying about $3.20 for it.
3. Hobby Lobby Decorative Owl Plate – $5.40 – Then another week I used a 40% off coupon on the Owl plate, regularly $8.99, so I ended up paying about $5.40 for it.
4. Walmart Live Pumpkin Arrangement – $15.11 – I bought all my live pumpkins at Walmart. The live mini-pumpkins were $2.98 for a bag of 5. The 2 pie pumpkins were 78 cents a lb. The large Jack-o-lantern pumpkin was $3.98. I used craft supplies purchased at Hobby Lobby to decorate the pumpkins. I bought Tulip Slick Paint in black to decorate the pumpkins ($3.49 for a large bottle). I also purchased a bag of spanish moss ($2.49 for a large bag) to accent my book print pumpkin (which I saw on Pinterest, originally featured HERE). I heat embossed the small pumpkin with some embossing ink and powder that I already had on hand in my scrapbooking supplies. I got a used copy of New Moon at Goodwill for $1, which is where I got the pages for my book print pumpkin. I also got my candleabras there as well, a steal at $4 for the pair!
Seen Throughout. Walmart Faux Metallic Gourds and Pumpkins – $1.00/each and Candelabras– $4.00/pair.
