Creative Gift Holiday Wrapping Ideas
At this moment, purchased and crafted gifts are hiding in home all over the world… waiting to be wrapped up for Christmas! Though I’m seeing some snapshots on Instagram, from mamas who have finished their wrapping (high five!) I’m in the waiting-til-the-night-before club and happy to spend another week searching for and creative gift wrapping ideas!
Here are a few I’d love to try out — enjoy!
Pom Pom Christmas Tree via Two Shades of Pink — So cozy, you’ll want to hug it… probably. I think this would be a fun idea to get the kiddos involved in some gift wrapping! Have the little ones decorate gifts for gramma or their teacher!
Heart Cut Out Gift Wrap via The House That Lars Built — Originally shared for Valentine’s Day, but shhh, they’ll never know. I think this is a winner all year round!
Rudolph Wrapping Paper via The Proper Pinwheel — Yes, yes, yes. My favourite idea of the year!
Painted Gift Wrap via Free People — This DIY wrapping paper has a seriously dreamy quality to it, right? And the addition of that velvet bow is awesome. Love that detail!
Confetti Bags via Mod Podge Rocks — A big ol’ smack of colour and glitter! These bags would be great for deliver holiday treats to a pal!
Easy Snowflake Holiday Wrapping Paper via Deuce Cities Henhouse — Simple, rustic, beautiful! It would be amazing to see an entire collection of gifts wrapped up just like this one. The baker’s twine is a perfect addition.
Pintuck Plaid Gift Wrap via Design*Sponge — This is probably some of the classiest gift wrap style I’ve ever seen! How great would this be for a dad’s gift this year? I think it looks rather elegant, to be honest.
I really enjoy wrapping presents during the holidays! My first few end up looking pretty awful, due to lack of practice — over-taped, wrinkled paper, and such — but once I get into the swing of things, they start to look rather dazzling, if I do say so myself!
So, tell us mamas — who wraps the presents in your house? Do you enjoy wrapping? Or is it a chore?
