Cool Finds: Summer Aprons

Summer is the season for cooking outside, and to me, cooking outside necessitates an apron. While I shudder at those black aprons with sayings like “KISS THE COOK” or “QUEEN OF THE GRILL”, there’s an alternative for the stylish mama.

Here are a few aprons I wouldn’t mind donning while cooking up a steak and enjoying a nice meal outdoors with my family.

Cool Finds: Summer Aprons

This one fits right in with my current denim obsession. Would anyone like to make me this apron from Sew Liberated Patterns? It’s gorgeous!

Great rustic style, hand dyed, by MEYERTEXTILECO. Love that buttery yellow colour.

I actually have a sheet with a very similar pattern to this apron available at Presley Pigs. Pretty!

Loving the length here! Pick up this beauty via HMM Designs and Vintage.

One more pretty floral number from The Paper Zoo.

Fact: When I’m tidying around the house, or washing windows, or dishes, etc., I always wear an apron. It’s a terry cloth apron, perfect for drying my hands. Once or twice I’ve actually left the house still wearing it… which looks ridiculous when you arrive at the grocery store. Whoops!

Do you ever wear an apron?
