Dear Mom Spark, My Husband Doesn’t Support My Blog
Welcome to a new series on Mom Spark called “Dear Mom Spark”! The concept of “Dear Mom Spark” is simple: readers submit their questions to us and we feature these questions in a blog post. (one question per blog post, bi-weekly) Our readers (fellow moms) then offer their advice by leaving a comment. Questions can run the gamut – parenting, business, women’s issues, blogging or general life. Our ultimate goal is to help women and moms, so comments will be closely monitored for inappropriate or rude material.

Dear Mom Spark,
I have been blogging for over a year and I really want to take my blog to the next level. I want to go to blogging conferences and try to make money running ads, etc. The problem is my husband. He doesn’t support my blog at all. He sees my blog as a “hobby” and gets upset when I am online when he’s around.
I’m not sure what to do. My husband is obviously more important than my blog, but I feel like he isn’t supporting something that I am passionate about.
Can you offer some advice?
Please leave a comment below to offer your advice to Anonymous. Are you going through the same issue? You can share that, too. Thank you for your participation!
