Easy Recipe for a Summer Social – Layered Bean Dip!

Summer isn’t over! Or at least this is what I keep telling myself by continuously busting out the BBQ for deliciously grilled dinners! 😉 Ok, so many fall is just around the corner, but I’m still soaking up as much sun as I can, and enjoy as many al fresco dinners as I can before it’s too chilly to sit outside.

To me, BBQ means friends and family, and that also means appetizers and tasty foods to share all around. Today I wanted to share a delicious layer bean dip that is one of my favorite to bust out when we have company — though I can tell you my boys are happy to gobble it up if it’s just us!

Layered Bean Dip

Bean Layer Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning, using about 2 Tbsp. of seasoning from it
  • REAL® Seal sour cream
  • freshly shredded cheddar
  • diced tomatoes
  • sliced green onions
  • sliced black olives

Directions:

  1. In a bowl combine the refried beans and taco seasoning. Stir well until combined. Spread onto a large serving dish or pie plate.
  2. Stir up the REAL® Seal sour cream to loosen it up. Spread over refried beans. Top with shredded cheddar.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and serve with tortilla chips.

In a recent post, I share how we’ve partnered up with REAL® Seal to tell you all about how they’ve been working hard since the mid-70s to bring quality dairy products to US customers.

The REAL® Seal is a way of showing you and your family that the product you’re bringing home from the grocery store is a genuine dairy product — made with milk from cows on US dairy farms.

You’ll also find the seal at restaurants and popular food chains, as more than 350 brands boast the REAL® Seal on over 10,000 products! Just one more way to make sure your family is getting the very best.

Quality dairy products are super important to me and my family, which is why we strive only to bring home milk, cheese, and more with the REAL® Seal. You can easily spot the seal on your favorite dairy products, as a white drop of milk with a red border and the word “Real” inside. Yum!

Learn more about the REAL® Seal via Facebook and DEFINITELY check out their excellent recipes over on Pinterest! You know I can help pinning tasty food, guys — I especially love their breakfast recipe board.
