Holiday Cocktail Party Style

Holiday party season is upon us, and with it, a perfectly good excuse to buy a new dress… or at least some fun accessories! I tend to lean toward a little black dress and knock-out shoes, PLUS a little fancy jewelry when I’m party-bound. Being comfortable is a big one for me — I won’t have fun if I’m stuck in a dress that’s not meant for sitting or moving!

Here are a few of my favourite ideas for a little holiday cocktail party style this season! Enjoy!

This is a dress people will remember! I adore the incredible detail on this 80s avant garde piece from Aiseirigh. The perfect dress for when you need to make an impression!

Clutch it! Your party necessities will fit nicely into this cute, black sequinned clutch from Beau Miracle For You. This clutch has a tiny pocket inside for valuables and a small, chain wrist-strap.

This lace number reminds me of something a ballerina… or perhaps Princess might wear. But hey, we can dream, right? I think this Pandora dress is just beautiful!

These stunning amethyst rings come from one of my favourite online shops, Moorea Seal. A fantastic cocktail ring to add little something special to your outfit. Unique and beautiful! (And completely affordable!)

I really love sequins. I’ll just come right out and say it! Check out this maxi dress via Ruche and wow the crowds!

And lastly, some simple, yet super stylish heels — just high enough to lengthen those legs, bot not so high you won’t be comfortable cuttin’ a rug! I also love the ankle-strap. These beauties are also from Ruche.

This year I’ve already done an office party with my partner, but that was a casual affair and I most definitely wore jeans! However, as New Year’s Eve approaches… I’m thinking about something a little more extravagant!

What holiday parties will you be attending this year? Office? Friends? Family?
