A Little Thanksgiving Style Inspiration

Thanksgiving Fashion Inspiration

I’ll be the first to admit that I love getting dressed up for the holidays. From dinner parties, to fun events, and beyond — it’s fun to “get fancy” as my daughter calls it and look your best. For Thanksgiving dinner, I think you get to dress up, but as EATING and ENJOYING are two big factors when it comes to gathering with family and friends for a fantastic meal… your first thought need to be COMFORT! No, I’m not talking about Joey Tribbiani wearing Phoebe’s maternity pants — you can be stylish AND cozy all at the same time. I promise!

Here are a few outfits from some of my favourite bloggy gals to get you inspired!

New mama Elycia, of Love Elycia, looks so sweet in this skirt, worn high-waisted, with a soft pale green sweater tucked into it. Simple and very cute! (And her hair is always fabulous!)

Our Holly Days‘ Holly added some sparkle to this simple outfit with a cute turquoise necklace — such a small addition that has a huge impact on her entire look!

The always stylish Nicole, of Making It Lovely, is rockin’ some classic black and white in this snapshot. I’m in love with the bold patterned top being played down by her layered sweater. A great look!

Smile & Wave‘s Rachel is looking beautiful with her baby bump in this striped maxi-dress. For all your expectant mamas out there, a maxi is one of the most foolproof ways to be comfortable and stylish all season long! (Add tights underneath if you’re chilly!)

Lastly, Carrie — of Wish Wish Wish — is always adorable in whatever she wears, but I particularly like this Paris-inspired tunic-style dress over her black tights. Another classy look that’s sure to be comfortable all day long!

In our neck of the woods we’ve already celebrated Thanksgiving and I can tell you exactly what I wore: My favourite jeans, a basic tank layered with a cozy knit sweater, and a hint of jewelry. Keep it simple — and enjoy!!

What will YOU be wearing to Thanksgiving dinner this year?
