BY PARTICIPATING, ENTRANTS AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF THE JUDGES AND/OR SPONSOR, WHICH ARE BINDING AND FINAL ON ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

No Purchase OR MOBILE TWEETING IS Necessary TO ENTER OR WIN. A Purchase OR MOBILE TWEET WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR Chances Of Winning. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS Open Only to individuals who LEGALLY RESIDE WITHIN THE fifty (50) UNITED STATES OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AND WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS Void Where Prohibited. (“Sponsor”), GolinHarris, Twitter, Inc., and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Twitter is neither a Sponsor of, nor affiliated with, this Sweepstakes. By entering, you understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not Twitter.

to enter: The Purina Pro Plan Party Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on July 24, 2012 and ends at 10:00 p.m. ET on July 24, 2012 (“Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes Period comprises five separate entry periods (each, an “Entry Period”) which will be communicated on Twitter by @MomSpark during the Sweepstakes Period. During the Sweepstakes Period, become a follower of @MomSpark on twitter.com/MomSpark if you have not already done so and participate in the #GreatDogContest Twitter Party. @MomSpark will send Tweets to the Twitter community during each Entry Period announcing the opportunity to win the designated prize for such Entry Period and ask followers to “Tweet” on Twitter including the #GreatDogContest hash-tag to receive one (1) entry into the drawing (each, an “Entry”). Limit one (1) Entry per username, per person and per email address for each of the five (5) designated Entry Periods throughout the Sweepstakes Period for a total of five (5) Entries. Multiple entries received from any username or person or e-mail address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All Entries must be received by the end time of the applicable Entry Period (to be determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion) to be eligible for the corresponding drawing. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or which subvert the entry process are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. If you choose to Tweet using your mobile phone, standard data and text messages sent may apply. See your wireless service provider for pricing plan details. A Twitter account is required to enter and can be opened for free at http://twitter.com.

RANDOM Drawing: Potential winners will be selected in a series of random drawings held by Sponsor on July 24, 2012 at the end of each Entry Period from among all eligible entries received during such Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period. Non-winning Entries from one drawing will not carry over into subsequent drawings. Potential winners will be notified via direct message from the @MomSpark handle on Twitter and asked to direct message @MomSpark their contact information within forty-eight (48) hours from the time an initial direct message notification was sent, or the prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner selected. Potential winners may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release as well as any other documents which may be required by Sponsor within five (5) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected.

Prizes (5): Prize One: a $75.00 Visa gift card; Prize Two: a $100.00 Visa gift card; Prize Three: a $150.00 Visa gift card; Prize Four: a $200.00 Visa gift card; and Prize Five: a $300.00 Visa gift card. All prize details not specified herein as being awarded will be at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. All federal, state and local taxes and all other costs associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Total ARV of all prizes: $825.00. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION: ENTRANTS, BY PARTICIPATING, AGREE THAT SPONSOR, TWITTER, GOLIN HARRIS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES AND ALL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASED PARTIES”) WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANTS FROM AND AGAINST ANY LIABILITY, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DEATH, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, MISUSE OR USE OF A PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

General Conditions: Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for:

(a) lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled tweets or entries; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of tweets or entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials;

(b) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; and

(c) injury or damage to participants’ or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the web site.

Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Sweepstakes or website or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries or tweets, or if Sweepstakes is unable to run for any other reason, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries or tweets received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

Each winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, address (city and state), photograph, and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval. In the event of a dispute regarding entries and/or tweets received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.
