Holiday Flowers And Chocolate Stirring Spoons
This post is sponsored by Teleflora and Millennial Blogs.
I just love this time of year. The house is decorated in colorful ornaments, wreaths and lights. The smells from the kitchen are sweet, warm and heavenly. Family is around and all just feels right and good.
Another thing that sets the tone for the holidays for me is the weather outside. It’s brisk and chilly, and if we’re lucky it just may snow on that special day. How perfect would that be?
The only downside to the cold weather is being inside the house more than usual. Not an entirely bad thing, especially with the colorful decorations around me, but I do miss breathing in the fresh air and trimming the flowers in my garden. BUT, I have found a simple solution that certainly helps – bringing plants and flowers inside!
Having live flowers and plants indoors really brings energy levels up and are the best form of decoration. I especically love flowers in festive colors and designs that tie in wonderfully with my holiday decor, like this beautiful PEANUTS Christmas Mug Bouquet from Teleflora! It brightened my day so much when I received it.
Here is a bit of include about this holiday bouquet:
This Christmas treat is doubly sweet! PEANUTS® lovers young and old will adore this two-in-one gift, featuring a fresh bouquet of red and white blooms delivered in a cute, collectible Charlie Brown mug that’s perfect for Christmas cocoa. What a fun-filled way to celebrate the holiday, and the 50th Anniversary of A Charlie Brown Christmas.
- A delightful mix of red carnations, red miniature carnations, white button spray chrysanthemums, white sinuata statice, flat cedar, noble fir and seasonal accessories.
- Delivered in a PEANUTS® Christmas Mug by Teleflora.
Isn’t it pretty? I adore the mug so much that it inspired me to do a little recipe project that can be paired with coffee or hot cocoa – chocolate stirring spoons! These spoons slowly melt with stirred into a hot mug of coffee or cocoa – yum!
This is one of the easiest recipes projects I’ve done yet and it’s so much fun to put together. Simply melt chocolate (milk or white) in a small bowl in the microwave, dip the spoon to coat, top with candies, then cool on wax paper!
You can also wrap each spoon in small plastic bags and tie with a ribbon to give as a gift. The spoons even fit perfectly in a coffee mug with a little shredded paper stuffed inside!
Need a few chocolate stirring spoon combination ideas? I’ve put together a few different “recipes” below!
- chocolate with peppermint candy pieces
- chocolate with white chocolate chips
- chocolate with cinnamon chips
- chocolate with mint candy pieces
- chocolate with toffee pieces
I love having a few stirring spoons on hand for my coffee on those nights by the fire when I just want to unwind.
Again, another reason why I love this time of year!
