Holiday Mantle Inspiration
Tis the season for decking the halls and all that fancy Christmas jazz! By now you’ve probably started to bust out all of your favourite holiday decor from the boxes in your basement or storage room, but now it’s time to put it all together into something awesome.
Or perhaps you want to try something new this year? Right now, I’m having some serious mantle envy. We moved into a gorgeous space with a wood-burning fireplace and NO MANTLE. It’s a total heartbreaker, but a girl can dream, eh?
Today I wanted to share some really lovely holiday mantles from around the web so that YOU can be inspired to live the mantle dream that I just can’t this year. Enjoy! I’ll keep dreaming 😉
You’ve got to adore the script art above the mantle here! And the line of stockings makes for a very merry scene. (via AKA Design)
No fireplace? Just make one! I might just be in love with the herringbone pattern of that wood inside the faux-place. (via Petite Party Studio)
The tile on this lovely holiday fireplace is rocking my world. And I bet you could make your own pallet or barn-board art to hang above just like this! (via The Lily Pad Cottage)
This is a modern and vintage dream come true. I love how crisp and clean this mantle is. This one might just be my new favourite. (via Hello Yellow)
Merry and bright indeed! This DIY will teach you how to make your own spectacular marquee style lighting for the holidays. (via A Beautiful Mess)
Of course I adore the deer motif and bunting on this cozy holiday-scape. Add a lovely bit of greenery and you’re good to go. (via The TomKat Studio)
