*I* am a stay at home mom, and I think this is ridiculous !

All of the salaries given are rated for those who are professionals in the field, and many of them are rated as though they live in the highest possible income bracket.
I don’t – and don’t know anyone who does – pay $21/hr for child care when needed… Not at a day care, and not for in home care either.
You want to make $14/hr cooking ?
You’d better be turning out some pretty amazing meals because the majority of restaurant cooks make minimum wage and higher pay comes with years of hard work and a culinary degree.
As for $33/hr to handle the family finances, you show me the stay at home mom who’s getting the rate of return I expect from a professional and I’ll show you the gal who decided to stay home from her brokerage to raise kids !

What a stay at home parent is worth is determined solely by the choices made within the family making that choice.
And manipulative ‘articles’ like this do nothing but foster a staggeringly inane sense of entitlement that our nation has quite enough of, thank you!
