How To Enjoy The Quiet Moments

When was the last time you did something just for you?

It doesn’t have to be extravagant, just something that fills you up, makes you smile, and reminds you that you’re important and worthy! As moms, I think we often forget to single out time for ourselves, because, let’s be honest, those alone moments are hard to come by. Between school runs and sports teams and meetings and work and beyond, those 24 hours get used up pretty quickly.

However, no matter how busy you get, the hard moments seem much harder when you haven’t had to time to recharge and refill your fuel cells. So today, I want to challenge you all to take a moment to do something that’s just for YOU. You can take 10 minutes or an hour, it doesn’t matter, it just needs to be for you!

One of my favorite ways to sneak in a little mom-only time, is to take a moment after dropping my kids off at school in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee at home. I know, it’s simple, but it works. Sometimes I even grab a book to read or take my coffee to a park to just sit and enjoy it. Start to finish. While it’s still nice and hot and delicious.

Without fail, on those mornings when I take that moment for ME, some magical things happen. I work better. I’m more organized. I’m ready to take on the biggest tasks of the day. All because I let myself regroup and recharge just for a short while.

Brewing up a mug of Dunkin’ Donuts at home is all it takes for me to start feeling like I’ve had enough of a break to get back to whatever it is I need to do that day. Their original blend of coffee is the perfect pick-me-up, of course, but did you know that their flavors and products go far beyond a simple cup of joe? Delicious flavors like Cinnamon Roll and Caramel Cake coffee can be purchased from your favorite grocery store so you can bring them to your home sweet home.

As I mentioned above, I often get my little moment of mom time after dropping the kids off at school, however, if your kids are NOT headed to school or daycare in the morning, you can sneak in your me time when the kids are down for their afternoon nap, when they’re at their swimming lessons, or after they head to sleep at night!

The next time you’re at the grocery store, you can pick up their easy-to-brew K-Cup Pods too! How about some Hazelnut, French Vanilla, or Dunkin’ Decaf? There are so many delicious varieties that you can brew right at home. Whether you’ve been a fan of Dunkin’ Donuts for years or days, I know you love how fun and down-to-earth their shops are. I always feel welcome when I walk into  Dunkin’ Donuts and I bet you do too! Bring your favorite products home so you can enjoy them anytime — even when baby’s napping and you can get out for your afternoon jolt! 😉

You can enjoy the delicious taste of Dunkin Donuts in the comfort of your own home when you brew up their flavorful roasts or pop a cup in your single-cup maker. You don’t have to wander far to find time for yourself, you just have to make it a priority — because you deserve it!
