How to Make Easy Play Dough

Need a quick kid activity on a rainy day?

Try our easy play dough recipe! It’s seriously the easiest, using ingredients you already have in your pantry.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 1/2 cup salt
• 1 cup flour
• 1/2 cup water
• food coloring (I use this natural food coloring powder)

HOW TO MAKE

1. Mix salt, flour, and water in a bowl until the dough starts to form. Use hands to continue combining the ingredients until the dough is no longer sticky and/or dry.
2. Add food coloring and knead the dough with your hands until the desired color is achieved. If the color isn’t bright enough after kneading, add more food coloring.
3. Play! Store in an air-tight container for about 6 months.
