How-To: The Low Side Bun

This post is dedicated to all the moms out there who wish they could have that just got back from the Salon look any day of the week, without actually have to fork out the cash or spend hours being primped. I LOVE having someone else do my hair, and I actually think blowouts are genius, but none of us have the time or means to do this EVERY single day. What we need in between our pampering sessions, are products that we can use on a daily basis that’ll give us a stylish look with minimal effort. Which is exactly what I’m going to show you how to achieve today!

This style is great for when you need to feel a bit fancy, but it’s simple enough that you can wear it any day of the week!

Simple Hairstyle How-To: The Low Side Bun

Step One

Wash and condition your locks!

Step Two

Towel dry your hair. You can twist your hair, section by section, to create a natural, wavy look — this keeps your low bun from looking too formal, and a little more fancy free! We’re going for effortless!

Step Three

Draw your hair into a loose ponytail to one side of your neck and secure with an elastic. Then twist your hair into a bun and secure with bobby pins or another elastic — depending on how much hair you have.

And there you go! A simple, beach-inspired side bun! Now you’re ready for date night, a trip to the beach, or an afternoon of errand-running. Have fun!
