Interview With A Blogger: Miss Kait
Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying your holiday season! Today we’re chatting with Miss Kait, a fellow Canadian blogger, and gluten free gal, whose blog is filled with stunning images and fantastic style. Let’s meet this lovely lass!
What prompted you to start blogging?
I’ve always loved writing, and had a blog when I was in high school. I left the blogging community for a few years and decided to come back because I really got into food and creating recipes once I had to go gluten free. I wanted a place where I could share my recipes, crafts, style and adventures with others. Reading blogs has always become a big part of my life and I wanted to get involved again.
Tell us about your day job/educational pursuits?
Currently I work both retail, and do contract graphic design work for small companies and bloggers. I’d like to get into Digital Marketing & PR eventually.
Where’s the farthest from home you’ve ever travelled? Tell us about your experience.
I actually haven’t traveled much yet! The farthest I’ve been was Myrtle Beach, which I went to with a friend and her family. I’d really like to go to Iceland and Paris though and am currently planning that.
What skill do you hope to master over the next year?
My number one goal this year is to take better care of myself and enjoy the little things. For me this is everything to actually taking vitamins, allowing some ‘me’ time, keeping my space organized, listening to my body. I wasn’t very good to myself in 2013 and was too focused on pleasing everyone else which became really stressful at times. I need to find a happy balance between the two!
What’s your current favourite song/band? And what are you reading?
I just bought Burn for Burn on sale, so I’m about to start that. I really love The Lumineers and Muse. It’s really hard for me to puck a favourite song or band because I have such broad taste in music. My favourite changes all the time.
