Lavender Essential Oil: The Swiss Army Knife

When in doubt, use lavender.

In essential oils circles, this is a phrase you’ll probably see pop up pretty often and it’s basically referring to the fact that lavender is SO good for SO many things, that if you’re not 100% sure what to try… bust out your lavender!

Personally, lavender essential oil is an oil that I use every single day, without exaggeration. Last night, my daughter had lavender in her bedroom diffuser and a few drops on her pillow before bedtime. Earlier this week I used it to clean out my dog’s ears with a carrier oils, and I also applied a little to a blemish on my chin. Not only does lavender smell incredible, the uses for it are innumerable — hence it’s Swiss Army Knife distinction in the essential oil world.
