Leftover Coffee Ice Cubes Recipe
A good cup of coffee is essential for me to start the day off right. It’s not just the caffeine, either, I honestly love the taste of coffee and taking the time to sit down and drink a great cup.
Sometimes throughout the day I still want a little boost of coffee. I’m happy I found a great new way to add coffee flavor to any cold drink, coffee ice cubes.
I like to make my coffee ice cubes with Dunkin Donuts coffees because they come in so many great flavors, and the flavor stands up to the icing process. The last thing you want is weak coffee ice cubes if you’re using the ice cubes to add flavor to your drinks. Dunkin Donuts coffees are easy to find in your local grocery store, either ground, whole bean, or in K-Cups.
Here’s how I make my coffee ice cubes, which is perfect for that yummy leftover coffee that you don’t want to waste.
I add my Dunkin Donuts coffee ice cubes to everything from regular milk to almond milk, and even in alcoholic cream based drinks.
Imagine a drink like a White Russian with coffee ice cubes! Or how about flipping the traditional Irish Coffee or Hot Toddy and making them into iced drinks for a cocktail hour?
The possibilities are endless, especially if you’re using Dunkin Donuts great flavors.
Coffee ice cubes have become my afternoon pick me up! What’s yours?
