It is hard to believe that MARY POPPINS is 50 years old! MARY POPPINS has always been one of our family’s favorite movies, so we were very excited to receive the new 50th Anniversary Edition on Blu-ray.

This special MARY POPPINS 50th Anniversary Edition includes digital restoration that enhances the already beautiful scenery in the movie. The Blu-ray also has amazing bonus content:

  • A conversation between legendary composer Richard Sherman and actor Jason Schwartzman
  • Mary-oke sing-along
  • Deleted song “Chimpanzoo”
  • A magical reunion with Julie Andrews, Dick Van Dyke and Richard Sherman
  • The making of Mary Poppins

My family watched the movie over the weekend, and it was just as lovely as I remember the last time I watched it. Julie Andrews is a complete rock star in my eyes and Dick Van Dyke is just as animated as the cartoon characters! The film may be 50 years old, but the story is timeless.
