Stunning Stationary for Your Home Office!
There are several items that always make it into my bag when I’m leaving the house. My laptop, my phone, and my notebook. Even though I do most of my work online and via my favourite tech devices, like my tablet, I am still so drawn to the paper and pen world — and I find that I get some of my very best work done when I sketch it out first.
For example, to do lists online mean basically nothing to me. I have to write it out on paper for it to become a reality. Do you ever feel this way?
When an idea or inspiration for a post or piece of content for a site I’m working on comes into my mind, I HAVE to write it down. Sometimes if I’m in my car, the iPhone’s Siri has been a big help for me to just shout ideas into, but she doesn’t always get me. I’ve actually pulled over to the side of the road in order to take my ideas down with a scrawl of ink across whatever napkin or wrapper might be hanging out on the floor of my vehicle.
There’s something about writing on paper that just gets to the centre of me — it makes me more productive, highly organized, and keeps me SANE. So, today, in honour of jotting down those dreams, quotes, and musings with a little pen and paper, I wanted to share some stunning stationary items that I’ve found around the web this week.
Take a peek!
Gold Dipped Twi Pencils via Inkkit — I don’t even care that these would be tricky to sharpen without a knife, just look how beautiful they are!
Frenchie Pencils via Miss Moppy Designs — Mais oui! I adore these French stamped pencils. This shop has a whole selection of pencils with different quotes and sayings stamped on the side. Very sweet! (And they’d make a fun gift!)
Colourblock Pencil Cases via Schoolhouse Electric Supply & Co. — Simple, functional, lovely!
Note To Self Notebooks via Knock Knock — I love the options at the top that you can check off! Urgent, Do, Relay, File, Burn, and Laminate! Ha!
Sweet Briar Notebooks via Anthropologie — Such beautiful colours!
I really love the feeling of filling up a notebook and knowing it’s always just waiting for me in my purse. I love to write ideas several times to make them stick — and the fulfillment of checking boxes on a handwritten list is thrilling. I LOVE to know when I’m one step closer to my goals! Woohoo!
