My Favorite Things: Part 5
Well, Thanksgiving is now behind us, which means we are in full holiday mode. Time to put up the tree, decorate and start wrapping those holiday gifts. Well, at least, that is what organized people do.
For now, I hope you enjoy my most recent favorite things.
As I mentioned in My Favorite Things: Part 1, I love the Free People brand. Obsessed may be a more appropriate word.
I splurged on this India Tapestry Tote a few months ago and I haven’t been happier with it. It is WAY bigger than I usually go with my purses, and sometimes it takes me ten minutes to find my keys in the vast space, but I simply do not care. The space actually comes in handy, even my laptop will fit in it!
I really shouldn’t have purchased Bakerella’s Cake Pops book, because now I’m obsessed with cake pops. I made my first batch last week and not only are they super yummy, but were a ton of fun to make. It was even easy enough for my 4 year-old to participate, although some of his pops are extra thick with candy coating. (which is not a bad thing!)
elf on the shelf.
Yes, Elf on the Shelf is one of my favorites this week, but it may not be why you may think it is. He’s creepy. Read more here.
Last Wednesday morning, there was a thick fog all over Edmond. I had a hair appointment that morning, and as I passed this pond, I snapped a photo. I love the eerie, cold feel and the ducks looking over the foggy pond.
A week ago, I attended my very first local blogger meetup. It was amazing seeing so many Oklahoma bloggers that I never knew existed. Part of the evening was spent at Pinkitzel, a trendy cupcake shop right here in Edmond! (there is a location in Bricktown as well) I was seriously in love with the design of the shop and the cupcakes were TO DIE FOR. A definite favorite now.
See you next time!
