My Favorite Things: Part 6
Just when I was accepting that it was November, December came. It has been unusually warm here in Oklahoma, but it’s not stopping me from getting into the holiday spirit.
I hope you enjoy this week’s Favorite Things, inspired by the season. For the most part.
I bought a large container of cinnamon sticks with the intention of placing them inside mugs of hot cider. Because I’m all Martha Stewart-like during the holidays.
We put the tree up last weekend and I had forgotten all about this lovely glass reindeer ornament I purchased last year. In LOVE with it and kinda want to wear it around my neck.
retro coffee mug.
I purchased this funky little mug last January at my local thrift store, used it once, then placed it up high (why?) in the cupboard. I caught a glimpse of it the other day right before I was about to brew some Sumatra, so I grabbed it. Seriously, is this not the coolest mug ever?
Yes, it has been warm, but there are still some mornings that are quite chilly, so it’s necessary to have gloves around. And, of course, if you are going to have gloves, they have to be fingerless and awesome like these handmade gloves from three bird nest. Am I right?
Please tell me that you’ve had a Mexican Coke before. No? You. Must. Immediately.
My husband took me to an authentic Mexican taco restaurant in OKC, so we both had to get Mexican Cokes, too. If you are unfamiliar, Mexican Cokes are made with real sugar (not HFCS), hence why they are so very tasty. So. Very. Tasty.
I hope you enjoyed Part 6 of My Favorite Things! Peace out and happy holiday decorating.
