My First PartyLite Party!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PartyLite Simple Pleasures Holiday Sweepstakes for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last weekend, I hosted my very first PartyLite party! With the help of my PartyLite Consultant, Natalie Gordon, my party was a big hit!  Ready for a recap?

As host, my only responsibility was to invite guests and provide food and drinks at the party.  Easy enough, right? My PartyLite Consultant arrived 45 minutes before the party.  While I prepared and put out the food, she set up a beautiful display of PartyLite products in the living room.

As Natalie was setting up, I was checking out the products.  Since I am totally new to PartyLite, I have only seen photographs in the online catalog, so it was neat to see the items in person.  I loved the wide selection of wick candles, candle holders and the coolest thing ever-LED candles that can be programmed to turn on/off!

Soon after the display was complete and the food was ready, guests started showing up.  I was able to catch up with friends and family that I haven’t seen in a while. We chatted quite a bit over food and drinks for about 30 minutes or so, then I brought everyone into the living room for a casual presentation by Natalie.  Each guest was given a PartyLite Winter/Spring 2012 Catalog to look over during the presentation.

Natalie went over the various PartyLite products, ways each item can decorate and refresh your home, and how many of the candles can be mixed and matched.  We were able to smell each candle scent, and Natalie encouraged us to write down our favorites so we wouldn’t forget. (my favorites included Brighter Days and Apple Orchard)

We also went around the room and pointed out something in the display or in the catalog that caught our attention.  Natalie would then tell us a little about each product.  The Infinite Reflections Lantern caught my eye right away.

Wouldn’t this be pretty in a bathroom?  I was really drawn to it!  Almost hypnotizing…

Natalie also went over the benefits of hosting a PartyLite party, which include:

  • $25 Host Credit for every $100 in Party sales
  • Half-Price items
  • Exclusive special offers
  • $50 retail credit for bookings from your Party

The consensus was the same in the room-we were all impressed with PartyLite products and we were ready to order!  Natalie made it clear that if we were not in the financial situation to order, book a party instead, so two of my friends did just that!  I will be visiting their parties this month and for doing so I’ll earn even more credit!

My party officially closes out this Wednesday night, so I will know how much credit I will earn then.  I am shooting for at least $100 in PartyLite credit!  Guess what I plan on buying with that credit? (hint, the picture is above!)
