New Uses for Pencil Erasers

What is a new use for a pencil eraser? How about using them to help level your picture frames! Here’s how:

First, locate pencil erasers. It’s okay to use used erasers.(just make sure they are approximately the same size)

pencils
Next, cut erasers off with scissors.

Now you should have two eraser stubs.

Using a hot glue gun, glue the cut side of each eraser.

Place onto bottom back corner of picture frame.

Your erasers should look something like this.

When dry, hang your photo and level! The best part-it won’t scratch your wall in the process!

Gosh, that’s a great idea….but does anyone still use wooden pencils? I only have mechanical ones in my house and DH would get really pissy if I took all the erasers out of his fancy mechanical pencils. ;)

Love this idea! I also use the erasers for earring backings. I have been ever since 5th grade! They work great…except for when you write with pencil…and you mess us…you get all sorts of ugly scratchy marks on your paper because there’s no eraser there! d’oh!
