Gosh, that’s a great idea….but does anyone still use wooden pencils? I only have mechanical ones in my house and DH would get really pissy if I took all the erasers out of his fancy mechanical pencils.

Love this idea! I also use the erasers for earring backings. I have been ever since 5th grade! They work great…except for when you write with pencil…and you mess us…you get all sorts of ugly scratchy marks on your paper because there’s no eraser there! d’oh!
