No-brainer Holiday Entertaining Tips
As the holidays quickly approach, you will probably find yourself entertaining family, friends and loved ones at some point. Are you ready yet?
Let’s be honest – holiday entertaining can be stressful. It’s funny how something that is meant to be a joyous time of year can feel so heavy. Most of this burden comes from poor planning, so I have put together some super easy ideas to help alleviate the worries that come along with hosting holiday parties.Let’s get to them!
Prep The Night Before.
Once you create a party menu, make a list of all recipes that you can put together the night before the party. Dishes like deviled eggs, salads, cut vegetables, pies, cookies and drinks or just a few that you can easily create ahead of time.
You can also set the table the night before the big day! Simply assemble the tablecloth, dishes, napkins, flatware and holiday decorations on the table to your liking and it will be one less worry for your party.
Use Household Items To Decorate.
Save some cash on brand new holiday decorations this year by using what you already have at home!
Some ideas include fresh cranberries in jars, spray painted pine cones from outside and tree ornaments in bowls and vases.
Guests will quickly get into the holiday mood with the right music playlist playing softly in the background!
Find seasonal music on your smartphone, cable television, old vinyl record player or cd unit, making sure the playlist loops to avoid dead air.
Coffee Ready To Make.
Coffee is a must for your holiday guests. Not only does it provide a little pick-me-up to party all night long, but it pairs perfectly with holiday pies and desserts!
The De’Longhi Pump Espresso machine allows you to be a barista at home with easy-to-make espresso, lattes and cappuccinos! Your guests will think that you spent years mastering the techniques of java drinks!
