No-brainer Recipe: Easy Fruits and Greens Smoothie
I don’t know about you, but lately I’ve been feeling the urge to clean out, throw out, and start with a clean slate. My entire life seems out of whack lately, nutrition being part of that.
Fruits and Greens Smoothies
Yield: Makes 2-3 Smoothies
Ingredients:
1 banana, cut in chunks
1 cup cling peaches
1 (6 ounce) tub vanilla yogurt
1/2 granny smith apple, cored and chopped
1/2 cup juice of your choice
1 1/2 cups fresh spinach leaves
Directions:
Place the banana, peaches, yogurt, apple, juice and spinach into a blender. Cover and blend until smooth, stopping frequently to push down anything stuck to the sides. Pour into glasses and serve.

Now you almost had me…….and then you mentioned the spinach leaves. I think I’m gonna have to pass on this one. Or just do it without the spinach.

I would think the granny smith would overpower the spinach. I think it’s a great way to get iron into your system!

I think it sounds pretty good! I’m not sure my kids would drink it unless I gave it a cool name, like “Smooshy alien brain smoothie”. Then they wouldn’t be able to resist.

Man, that sounds really good. I’m going to have to try it – even with the spinach.
