Papa Murphy’s New RWA Chicken Take and Bake Pizzas
I know a lot of moms feel guilty serving pizza for dinner, but not me. Pizza doesn’t have to be unhealthy, in fact, with carbs, vegetables, dairy, and protein, pizza can actually be great choice for a relaxed family meal. Plus, the time I save on cooking and cleaning up is quality time that I can spend with my family. Once school gets started again and life becomes more hectic, that time becomes even more important to all of us.
One of my favorite ways to ensure that the pizzas that I’m feeding my family have quality ingredients is to buy from Papa Murphy’s “Take and Bake” pizzas. I was really excited to learn recently that Papa Murphy’s is now using chicken that are raised on a vegetarian diet and without antibiotics. In fact, Papa Murphy’s is the first pizza brand to introduce Chicken Raised Without Antibiotics (RWA Chicken) systemwide.
Papa Murphy’s has always been a great choice for my family because the ingredients are fresh and customizable. Their food is so fresh that the stores don’t even have freezer cases! When one of my sons went through a “nothing green” phase we could order a pizza half with veggies and half without, no problem.
With the release of its new chicken products, I recently picked up a “name of pizza” for the family to test out. Yes, my job is very difficult sometimes. 🙂
As you the photos suggest, it was quite tasty! We adored the chicken – it was delicious. I love that we can bake the pizza at home, so it’s piping hot when we eat it.
Papa Murphy’s also has a variety of crusts so we can choose if we’re in the mood for thin or thick. Knowing that Papa Murphy’s is using chicken without antibiotics makes me feel better about the health of my kids, and the environment. I know more healthy changes are coming as the company is moving to eliminate artificial flavors and colors from menus by next year and phase out palm oil and high-fructose corn syrup by this fall.

See you then!
