Pillsbury…simply Cookies Review & Giveaway {GIVEAWAY CLOSED}

sc_header_ccc1

::GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED::  Congratulations to Lori Mellman!

Thanks to MyBlogSpark, I was able to test out the new Pillsbury simply…TM chocolate chip cookies.  Can you say, YUM?  The new cookies come in two favorite flavors, Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter. They are made with wholesome ingredients like flour, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla and have zero grams trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors or flavors and no preservatives. The cookies are ready to bake so there is no messy preparation, and they are ready in minutes.

I liked the “break & bake” style of these cookies, because of the pure convenience and easy storage.  The flavor reminded me of a traditional homemade chocolate chip cookie, which was surprising being a break & bake.  Needless to say, our family gobbled them up quickly!

::COUPON::

I have a coupon for all of my readers for $1.25 off Pillsbury simply…TM cookies.  Download your coupon here.

::GIVEAWAY::

I have a Pillsbury prize pack to give to one lucky winner!  The prize pa ck includes a Pillsbury canvas tote, ceramic cookie jar, and a coupon for a FREE package of Pillsbury simply…TM cookies.

    I cook from scratch. But you can cook real food in 30 to 40 minutes.
    The only time I buy prepared foods is if I am going away for a weekend. The kids then have these but guess what they hate processed food.
    Point to me.

    I make meals with as few ingredients as possible. one stand out ingredient with bold flavor is much tastier than a dozen subtle “notes” of flavor. 6 ingredients or less is our motto for most cooking.

    I’m all about simple! I do lots of meals that can be completed in under 20 mins by baking a meat in the oven while a cook a side dish such as potatoes or rice on the stove top and throw a bagged salad in. I also use the frozen “helpers” that come complete with everything or everything except the meat.

    I try and keep it simple by always having the basics on hand. It makes it easier to make that last minute loaf of bread if you already have yeast in the cabinet.
