Pomegranate Berry Smoothie Bowl Recipe
There are so many different ways that one can make a smoothie bowl (in fact, check out my book below on 200 ways to do so), but today we’re highlighting pomegrante and berries!
Pomegranate Berry Smoothie Bowl
This recipe is filled with antioxidants from the pomegranate juice and berries.
Yield: 1 serving
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
- 1⁄4 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice
- 1⁄2 frozen banana, cut into pieces, if necessary
- 1⁄2 cup blueberries
- 1⁄4 cup raspberries
- 4 ice cubes
- Sliced banana
- Pomegranate seeds
- Dried mulberries
- Chia seeds
1. In blender, combine pomegranate juice, banana, blueberries, raspberries and ice. Secure lid and blend (from low to high if using a variable-speed blender) until smooth.
2. Pour into a bowl and top with any of the suggested toppings, as desired.
Choose bright-colored raspberries that look plump and have no visible mold.
Add 1 tablespoon protein powder for additional protein and thickness. Blend it with the pomegranate juice before adding the remaining ingredients.
