Poppy’s Orange Scream Pudding Parfaits Recipe

There are a lot of ways in which I won the mom lottery, my kids are pretty amazing. But, there’s one thing that I’m so lucky in that I’m almost afraid to admit it publicly. Seriously, I don’t want to make you jealous or sound like I’m bragging, but I need to come clean.

My youngest son has been a rocket ship for the past four Halloweens in a row.

Yes, that’s right. We have zero costume drama at my house. There are no last minute changes, no arguments over costumes that are too scary or too mature, no last-minute runs to the fabric store. He’s a rocket ship, every year and it’s awesome.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Halloween. I love any excuse to decorate and hand out candy. But the fact that I don’t have to worry about costumes means I have time for other Halloween treats and traditions, like trying new recipes.

This year TruMoo, one of my favorite milk brands, has come out with a limited edition flavor, Orange Scream Milk. Inspired by the classic orange frozen popsicle with vanilla ice cream, Orange Scream Milk is nutritious (made with low-fat milk, no high fructose corn syrup, and no artificial growth hormones) and of course delicious.

The new flavor is in honor of both Halloween and Dreamworks’ new movie, Trolls.  I’m going to use this new treat in this “Poppy’s Orange Scream Pudding Parfait” recipe.
