Have you ever looked at the clock at 5:45 in the evening and thought, “What am I going cook for dinner?”
No? Just me?
That is why I love my crockpot. I don’t know what my family would eat if I didn’t have one. I make soups, stocks, fajita meat, spaghetti sauce, and brisket, just to name a few. No, I’m not a great cook. In a crockpot, you can throw in the ingredients, and the crockpot does all the work.
When I was working full time, I really could not have lived without it. I would throw some stuff in the crockpot in the morning (or the night before and keep it in the fridge), turn it on and dinner was done when I got home. If I want to cook a casserole, or enchiladas, that call for cooked chicken, I put a few chicken breasts (even frozen!) in my crockpot with some water and then my chicken is cooked when I’m ready for it and I’m not waiting for my chicken to cook in the oven.

The crockpot…it’s not just for queso anymore! Ok, well, queso is still darn good…but you know what I’m saying.
