As a blogger, I often use Youtube to host videos of my work because I want many eyes on them. The more eyes, the better! However, as a mother I feel very differently. Many mom bloggers write about their personal lives, including posting photos and videos of their children, but I choose to keep that part of my life private. Because of this, I require media platforms that provide easy private sharing options. Thankfully, Givit does just that!
Givit is a video sharing service that is free to use. (no membership fees attached) Simply sign up (fast and easy), upload a video, and then select contacts to email, like family and close friends. Safe, simple and easy.
I tested Givit by sending my project manager (and close friend) a video. She received the email right away and clicked on the thumbnail to watch the movie. After clicking, she was led to Givit.com with a prompt to sign up. She said signing up was very quick and she was then able to view the video without a hitch. Very cool!
I think Givit is a great solution for moms like me who want to share videos safely and privately. Ready to try it out for yourself? Visit Givit.com to learn more and check out what 5 Minutes for Mom has to say as well!
