Ask any mom and I’m sure she’ll tell you that her sleep is a precious thing. Often, moms do not get a full night’s rest for one reason or another and so the hours that we do get really need to count.
Recently I have not been sleeping well, because the down topper on our mattress was starting to get old and bunch up in places, making the bed feel lumpy and uncomfortable. I was reluctant to get a new down topper, because I figured the same thing would happen with it. I really wasn’t sure about getting a memory foam topper either, because I had heard that those get very hot at night and I’m already a hot-natured person.
I was surprised to learn however, that you can get memory foam mattress toppers that are cool and comfortable. SleepJoy sent me their 3” CoolTop Mattress Topper to try on my bed and although it has a memory foam base, it also comes with 300tc Cotton Cover that keeps you nice and cool while you sleep.
I put this on my bed as soon as it came, I couldn’t wait to see what it felt like. When I took it out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the relaxing green tea scent of the memory foam. I laid it out on my bed and then put the Cotton Cover over it. It looked so plush I decided to lie down on the bed before I even put the sheet back on!
One of my favorite things about this mattress topper, besides the fact that it is incredibly comfortable is the fact it is eco-friendly and made from plant based materials. It is also hypoallergenic and microbial, which is great since Jackson and I both have allergies. SleepJoy also has a variety of other items including Memory Foam Pillows, Mattresses and more.
The CoolTop Mattress Topper made my bed so comfortable; it was almost like laying down on a brand new mattress! The cover made the bed feel very plush…I really liked it. I slept well that night and woke up the next day feeling refreshed. Overall I really like my mattress topper and am very happy with it! On those rare occasions that I’m able to sleep all night (and maybe pick up a couple of extra hours on the weekend), I wake up with my back hurting. I think it’s because the mattress sags. I believe a good mattress topper could help with that.
