Snow Painting

post by Wendy

Has the snow started to fly where you are? Our home had a dusting, but my daughter Lani didn’t care. She insisted that we go out and build a snowman. It was the tiniest one ever, but she was happy as can be. We broke in her winter boots and even threw a snowball or two.

We came inside and painted the snow we saw had just played in. I gave Lani some white paint with a little school glue mixed in. She painted the paper then sprinkled some glitter all over to add some sparkle. A quick, fun, and easy winter activity for all ages.

You never know maybe magic will happen and the tiniest snowman will grow up to be king of the snowmen.

That is so cute and she looks quite happy in her high chair painting and decorating- LOL
Great pics of the memories! We don’t get snow much at all here. I miss it so much but, I don’t have the “15 minutes out the door” problem you have. I can be thankful for that. When we do get snow, I have to make my kids put on multiple socks, shirts, etc because they don’t have hard Winter weather gear. The one day I wish I would have bought them boots or snow suits… then, it passes, no more snow & I know I didn’t need to get the boots after all. We had even talked about moving just to get all 4 seasons as they should be. LOL I really do wish we would get more snow but i wish we lived in an area that could handle it too. Everyone goes crazy here when it snows just a few flurries. Coming from a place where we used to have snow as deep as our knees it is funny to watch.
Nice memories of your babies snow day. Did you get pics of her in the snow too, her snowman, those would be keepers
