Bookmarks allow you to create a selection of your favorite views – if you want to remember a specific astronomical event or just a romantic night – save it, add a note to it, and share it!
Ever wanted to rise together with the Sun? How about Venus? Star Walk Sky Live screen provides info about main planets of the Solar System.
It doesnʼt seem like much in a description. However, if you actually try looking at a bright screen on a dark stargazing night, your eyes will hurt! That is why we added a night mode, with dim red colors that take care of your eyes. Even the keyboard for star search is eye-gentle.
SOLAR WALK
Solar Walk is designed to help you learn the structure and la the Solar System. It is a virtual model of the Solar system w options to “jump to another planet”, and watch the planetary movements from any desired angle. It also has a “time mach feature to simulate various space events, e.g. solar eclipse.

- 3D SOLAR SYSTEM: play with the 3D model by moving around the Solar System
- FLY to the PLANET: having chosen a planet from a far, tap an image of a “rocket” to fly straight to the planet
- READ INFO about the planet: by tapping the “i” button you learn general info about the planet
- TIME MACHINE: click on the clock icon and date and time will be displayed. Slide your finger on the scale and the sky will start moving accordingly
- MOONS of DIFFERENT PLANETS: select a planet like Earth, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars or Urano

Both of these apps were perfect for my 10-year-old son who is obsessed with science and astronomy. The apps make astronomy fun and beautiful, and the best part is they are educational, too!
