Who doesn’t love SunChips, right? Not only do SunChips offer yummy flavors like Garden Salsa (my personal favorite) and French Onion, but they contain 30% less fat than regular potato chips. Another bonus is that SunChips are now made with solar energy and coming in 2010, all SunChips packaging will be made with compostable, plant-based renewable material. Speaking of the Earth, SunChips and National Geographic have partnered together and launched “Green Effect, ” which is an initiative to inspire individuals to spark a green movement in their communities. To get the movement started, Green Effect is awarding $20,000 grants to five people or groups with great “green change” ideas.
