Cool Finds: Dinner Party Must Haves, Part 3: Dessert Decadence

As the holiday season approaches it’s time to start thinking about all of those fabulous dinner parties that you’ll either be attending or spearheading! In this four part series I’ll be sharing some dinner party must haves that are sure to help make these occasions extra special.

If you have a sweet tooth, then you’re in for a real treat – part 3 of this 4 part series is all about desserts! At the end of your tasty, savoury holiday feast, it’s time to relax, enjoy a coffee or a tea & nibble on something sweet & delectable. To me, holiday desserts should be elegant in presentation, not to difficult to prepare & of course, just sweet enough – a delightful way to top off your fabulous dinner party. Here a just a few of my favourite festive dessert ideas:

No-brainer Recipes: Peanut Butter Cookies

Easy Peanut Butter Cookies

1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 egg

Pre-heat oven to 375.

Mix together until it looks like cookie dough.  Yes, it does hold together like regular dough! (people ask me this all the time)

Pillsbury…simply Cookies Review & Giveaway {GIVEAWAY CLOSED}

::GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED::  Congratulations to Lori Mellman!

Thanks to MyBlogSpark, I was able to test out the new Pillsbury simply…TM chocolate chip cookies.  Can you say, YUM?  The new cookies come in two favorite flavors, Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter. They are made with wholesome ingredients like flour, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla and have zero grams trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors or flavors and no preservatives. The cookies are ready to bake so there is no messy preparation, and they are ready in minutes.

I liked the “break & bake” style of these cookies, because of the pure convenience and easy storage.  The flavor reminded me of a traditional homemade chocolate chip cookie, which was surprising being a break & bake.  Needless to say, our family gobbled them up quickly!

I have a coupon for all of my readers for $1.25 off Pillsbury simply…TM cookies.  Download your coupon here.
