The First Day of School was The Best Day of School
A few weeks ago was the start of the new school year for my boys. I took some time to sit down with a cup of Seattle’s Best Coffee® and reflect on how I was able to make that day, for both of my boys, the best day ever.
My oldest son, Christian, was starting his senior year of high school and my youngest son, Charlie, was going into fourth grade. There was a lot that both of them were looking forward to, but there was also a lot that needed to be done for that first day back to be the best day ever.
With the help of the smooth, delicious taste of Seattle’s Best Coffee®, I was able to keep it together at school drop off (mostly), pack a lunch with a fun note for my son, and learn about my boys’ days with the Back to School Q&A on the first day. They both had the best day ever, meeting their teachers, new friends and old, and getting prepared for the fun school year ahead.
As a mom, I feel good about putting that extra effort in with the help of Seattle’s Best Coffee and their Best Day List. It took a lot of the stress out of the process for me while still making it easy for me to make that day for my boys extra special.
It was a milestone start of school for my oldest and a brand new experience for my youngest with all of the cool things he’s going to be able to do in fourth grade this year.
