Tuscan-Inspired Pizza Pasta

There’s nothing that brings family together like a hearty serving of pasta with a side of good conversation, quality time, and perhaps a drop of wine or two. Especially as the cold weather starts to knock on our front door, I think that a big bowl of pasta is the perfect meal! But, you’ve always got to add your own twist to keep it interested — or at least to keep your family interested! 😉

Bertolli® pasta sauce is the perfect way to add something special so that you can create a whole new recipe, or transform one of our favorites. There are so many fun and YUMMY ways to use Bertolli® sauces in your cuisine for a Tuscan-inspired meal that’s sure to have them asking for seconds.


Today I wanted to share a fun recipe that I created with the help of some tasty Bertolli® Tomato & Basil Sauce. I’m calling it Pizza Pasta and I know you’re going to LOVE it!

Leftover Pizza Pasta Recipe

Pizza Pasta

Create a delicious Tuscan-inspired meal for your family!

Yield: serves 4

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes


1 lb pasta such as angel hair, or linguine
olive oil
sea salt
freshly cracked black pepper
Bertolli® Tomato & Basil Sauce
various toppings such as:
black olives
roma tomatoes
fresh basil
fresh oregano
red onions


Boil pasta according to package directions.
While cooking pasta, in a separate pot heat pizza sauce.
Chop topping ingredients and set aside.
When pasta is done, drain, toss in olive oil and sea salt.
Portion into serving bowls.
Top with pizza sauce and toppings, freshly grated parmesan and several cracks of black pepper.
