How to Fight Hunger and Spark Change
This post is sponsored by General Mills, but all opinions are my own.
Are you aware that nearly 12 million children in the United States struggles with hunger? As a mom, it breaks my heart to think of any child in this situation. Just the very thought of my own child going through this is too much to bear.
It’s an alarming thing to think about, as no child should worry about where their next meal comes from. Fortunately, General Mills and Walmart taking action with the Fight Hunger program with Feeding America®!
For every participating General Mills product purchased at Walmart between 4/18/22 and 5/15/22, General Mills will donate $0.10 to Feeding America – enough to help Feeding America secure 1 meal on behalf of its member food banks – up to a maximum total donation of $1,500,000 in conjunction with this program. See Walmart.com/FightHunger for more information.
Participating products at Walmart include:
- Cereal – Honey Nuts Cheerios™, Cinnamon Toast Crunch™, Reese Puffs, Lucky Charms™, Oatmeal, etc.
- Snacks – Nature Valley™ and Totino’s™
- Meals and Baking – Old El Paso™, Betty Crocker™, Hamburger Helper, Suddenly Pasta Salad
My family has always been a fan of General Mills products, especially cereals, snacks, and Old El Paso™ for taco night!
I also love whipping up Suddenly Pasta Salad for an easy lunch or dinner.
To know that purchasing our favorite General Mills products is also helping the “Fight Hunger, Spark Change” initiative, makes me feel like I’m giving back to a cause I believe in.
