So, do you still have a little leftover pizza sauce sitting in the fridge from last weekend’s epic build-your-own-pizza bar where you and the kids and the dog and every surface within a ten-foot radius was left covered in flour and you swore to do that probably never again?
Yeah, me too.
That is how Pizza Pasta came to be. All the homemade pizza flavors you love without the full upper body workout or need to hire a professional cleaning crew for the aftermath.
Here’s all you need to do, and in 15 minutes or less.
Boil some pasta – angel hair or linguine works really nicely here. Drain, and toss in a little olive oil and sea salt. Heat sauce, and ladle on top of pasta. Top with all your favorite pizza toppings… pepperoni or salami, olives, fresh Roma tomatoes chopped, fresh basil and oregano, red onions, anything you like. Top it all off with freshly grated parmesan and a few cracks of black pepper.
And for dessert, have the kids do the dishes. 🙂
