Sangria Tea Mocktail Recipe

Post sponsored by Mirum Shopper but all opinions are my own.

Everyone is always looking for ways to simplify life around the holidays. I definitely think that’s a good goal, but I also think there’s something enjoyable about the indulgement of the holidays, too.

Sam’s Club is my number one suggestion for how to make the holidays fun, yet run smoothly. I’ve always relied on Sam’s for great prices on everything from must-have gift items to food, but this year they’ve made my life even easier with their Food Hub. This hub is really a one-stop shop when it comes to meal planning, with great recipe ideas using the Unilever brands that I really know and trust.

They have so many great recipe ideas, for everything from those day-to-day meals you still need to serve, to ideas for the big holiday meals (which is coming up very soon).

I got inspired to try the Lipton® Sangria Tea to serve when we have company this week. I always like to have a drink that looks fancy but isn’t alcoholic for those guests that don’t drink alcohol.

Sangria Tea Mocktail Recipe

Yield: 7 servings

Total Time: 2 hours

  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 3 Lipton® Iced Tea Brew Family Size Tea Bags or 5 Cup Size Tea Bags
  • 2 cups no sugar added purple grape juice, chilled
  • 1 medium orange, sliced
  • 1 medium lemon, sliced
  • 1 medium lime, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups chilled club soda or seltzer

  1. Pour boiling water over Lipton® Iced Tea Brew Family Size Tea Bags in saucepan; cover and brew 5 minutes.
  2. Remove Tea Bags and squeeze.
  3. Combine tea with remaining ingredients except soda in large pitcher; chill at least 2 hours. Just before serving, add soda. Pour into ice-filled glasses.

The red color is so perfect for the holidays, but it’s not a heavily spiced beverage that will overwhelm the senses. The fruity flavor will go well with appetizers or the main course!

Lipton, as well as and other Unilever products, can always be bought in bulk at Sam’s Club, which saves me a lot of time and money!
