Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? Most of us think of “green” when we think of this lucky holiday, but today I want to focus on the Irish part of the day with some delicious Guinness beef stew!
Season beef with garlic pepper and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. In a large skillet brown beef in oil over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Place beef in a slow cooker. Top with potatoes, carrots, celery, thyme and remaining pepper. Pour broth and beef over the top. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 5 hours.
