Top Back-to-School Clothing Trends for 2021

After a year of homeschooling my youngest son due to the pandemic, the thought of sending him back to school IN PERSON next month is so, so exciting. Not only is this exciting for me, but my son who is normally avoiding the thought of school at all costs, ha! A new sense of normalcy is emerging and we’re all ready for it.

While I know that there will be some acclimation to this new normal by getting up earlier in the morning (we have definitely NOT been getting up on a regular schedule since quarantine) and getting into the groove of daily school life and homework, my family is ready to get back into the rhythm of school.

It’s funny how quickly my son’s style has changed since he attended school in person last year, even though we have all been guilty of staying in comfy clothes around the house most of the time. I mean, who hasn’t?

He’s growing into a young man who certainly has his own unique, eccentric style that I just absolutely love and adore. I cannot wait to take him clothes shopping so that he can explore and own his personal look for the new school year.

The contest calls on parents across the country to submit an Instagram post on behalf of their kids ages 5 – 14, reflecting their child’s unique sense of design and fashion.

There will also be a bonus opportunity for the parent and child to participate in a design session with Zulily, providing creative inspiration for an exclusive Zulily capsule collection to be launched in 2022 that will range from swimwear to back-to-school styles.
